"Belated Greetings"

Ok, so here I was, wandering around on the net while waiting for Stargate SG-1 to start and I realised that I hadn't even introduced myself! Since I joined the forum in late December last year I thought I'd better fix that up so here goes...

First of all, my name is Adam Johnson and I hail from the small town of Innisfail, Far North Queensland, Australia. I am currently a year 12 student at Good Counsel College and thoroughly looking forward to graduation later this year. At school my main subjects are Japanese and Chemistry. Computers are a hobby and I would be doing Computer Studies except it doesn't count towards my OP (or tertiary entrance score or whatever you call it were you come from :)
My other hobbies include model plane building, watching what little anime is available up here and reading.

I came upon Eyrie one day while looking for a nice long Evangelion fanfic. I found NXE, read it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. One day, after checking the NXE site for updates, I decided to have a look at the rest of the site. One by one I went through the stories until I reached UF. I've said it before but I'll say it again, UF is better than a lot of the published books I've read. Once I'd made my way through UF I started on the Symphony. That was about half-way through the first Symphony and I've been a fan ever since. I've even got the Rabid Crack Weasel shirt, mug and cap to prove it :) (Although I'm forever explaining the origins of the Weasels to people who inquire about the shirt)

On another note, my music collection has been vastly expanded due to the music used in Eyrie works but, on top of that, I mainly listen to soundtrack music, orchestral (or whatever you class the Star Wars and Gladiator music as), a bit of classical and, to the other extreme, Metallica.

Oh good, Stargate's on.
One last thing: Hail Eyrie, I am in your debt.

Regards
R6

Greetings from down south. Be thankful you got the shirt while in high school. You won't have the money next year (Much to my frustration)

Yeah, I'm looking forward to graduating but as for what happens after... only time will tell. I'm hoping to go to university and study either Japanese, Chemistry or maybe Information Technology.
