"Just Wandered in From Illinois..."
|
Heya! Well, this is Pearson "Doc" Mui pounding away at the keyboard. I've been a fanfic author since about 1992 (just *don't* ask what my first fanfic was). In mid-1992, I devoured as much UF as I could find, and decided to write for the universe before it closed down. An OK by Ben and a year later (I write horrendously slow...a trait that hasn't changed), Leap Years, part 1 was on the Net. Another year passed, and part 2 made its way out of my head. Then came Anime Detective. ^_^; Need I say more? Oddly enough, I think I'm one of the oddballs of the group, mainly because 1) I'm fairly normal, and 2) I'm not in any technical field, with both my B.A. and Master's in (drumroll, please...) Psychology. My hobbies? Writing (of course), going to anime conventions (Katsucon and Anime Central are my standbys, with Anime Weekend Atlanta optional), photography (usually at the aforementioned conventions), reading sci-fi books (favorite author (at the moment): Peter David. Favorite author of all time: H. G. Wells), and playing video games. Anyway, that'll do for starters. <grin> --DocMui

>(just *don't* ask what my first fanfic was) What was your first fanfic? Come on, you knew this would happen! Benjamin Brill who lives near one of the (former) largest cities of the world and is still as far away from civilisation as Tatooine. |

>>(just *don't* ask what my first fanfic was) > >What was your first fanfic? >You're not cleared for that information. Neither am I - I'm barely cleared to know that you don't have the security clearance for that. :) > >Come on, you knew this would happen! > >Benjamin Brill > He probably did. That's why I volunteered to spew random silliness. Hopefully, something here will cause topic drift. :) Peter Eng -- "Power Rangers, these are the Dinozords." "Terrific! Now tell me one thing, Zordon." "Yes, Red Ranger?" "WHERE'S THE STEERING WHEEL?!" **crash** |

>>>(just *don't* ask what my first fanfic was) >> >>What was your first fanfic? >> > >You're not cleared for that information. Oh come on. Just because I worked for Morgoth onece, and I didn't even do it volutary. Really. I lost a bet against Mandos and needed the money. And if you don't know which of my personalities is speaking here, than you probably didn't read my introduction.

I suspect that the original text is lost to time, but there's still a MST of it out there. And I have to agree...it isn't the Doc's best work. Peter Eng |
