Sector names do appear that way in some older stories, and in any longer proper name they appear in (e.g., "Greater Rigel Sector Co-Prosperity Sphere"), but in general references, it's not capitalized, in the same way that you wouldn't capitalize, for instance, "system" in "Zeta Cygni system". It's just the way the Royal Astrographic Society does it. People probably argue about it on usenet all the time.

I doubt she could get a signal on the Shikuka Glacier.

>You know, I kind of like Lefty.

So do I, oddly enough. That's one of the reasons he survives this story.

>Apropos of nothing, this is basically exactly like I see any
>potential confrontation between Sosuke Sagara and... well, a lot of
>people who are just way more dangerous than he is going down.

On the one hand, yes, Sosuke would probably get his ass thoroughly kicked by Laura, even if he had somehow managed to meet her when they were the same age. On the other hand, he's well-trained and battle-savvy enough to recognize that he would and do whatever he could to avoid having to engage her in the first place. Say what you want about the boy, he knows another dangerous person when he sees one.

>This right here is why I don't much care for Victor. He's a perfectly
>fine character. But man, does he rub me the wrong way as a person.

He's an acquired taste, but in fairness, you should see the other guy.

>Will probably have more to say in the next installment, though. Try
>and contain your enthusiasm for it!

Are you kidding, I've been looking forward to this for days now. Even when you're being a pain in my ass, you're usually at least interesting. :)
