The teaser trailers kept flashing images through my head until I had to write them down. I use a date of "this summer" in the voicover because it sounds good and for no other reason. I have no knowledge of when it will actually be released, nor am I attempting to pressure the authors to meet that goal - I just needed something to put there :)

So, without ado...

{FADE into a picture of Reiliel the Griffon sitting on a flat surface.}

REILIEL: Squawk!

{REILIEL flaps her wings and takes off, and the image pans down and pulls back to reveal the EPU Logo.}

{FADE TO BLACK for 3 seconds.}

{MONTAGE: Flashed images of life before the Second Impact each fading to black every second and a half (length of voiceover).}

VOICEOVER: In the spring of 2000, our planet was devestated by a cataclysm greater than anything in 65 million years.

{FADE TO BLACK for 2 seconds.}

{MONTAGE: Flashes of the destruction caused by the Second Impact running at the same rate (3 sec. + length of voiceover).}

VOICEOVER: In the years to follow, scientists would call it the Second Imact, and declare that it was caused by a giant rock from space.

{FADE TO BLACK for 1 second.}

{MONTAGE: Flashes to the various SEELE council members, followed by FADE TO BLACK.}

VOICEOVER: They Lied.

{MONTAGE: Flashes through the arrival of the Angels and NERV fighting them off (5 sec.)}

{FADE THROUGH BLACK.}

{MONTAGE: Images of life post-rebuilding, leading into scenes from the battle of Neo-Worcester.}

VOICEOVER: Sixteen years later, Mankind is caught in the ultimate battle between good and evil, and the Fate of Humanity rests in the hands of four special children.

{MONTAGE: Flashes through Rei, John, Asuka and Shinji.}

{FADE THROUGH BLACK.}

{REI at the top of the radio tower at Station 51.}

VOICEOVER: Now, to save Mankind, an Angel must fall...

{REI jumps off the tower. Cut to Rei diving straight at the ground with the image FADING TO BLACK just before she pulls up.}

{FADE FROM BLACK. SHINJI laying in bed with San Ayanami sitting on him.}

VOICEOVER: A young man will confront a familiar stranger...

SAN: Hi, Shinji.

{FADE THROUGH BLACK.}

{EVA-01 breaking free of it's gantry, and knocking over EVA-10, and smashing the gantry.}

VOICEOVER: And the most terrifying force Hell has ever known will be unleashed against the forces of Evil...

{FADE THROUGH BLACK.}

{MONTAGE: Various combat images from NXE and NXE:TMP, ending with EVA-01 throwing its progressive knive into EVA-11's eye (length of voiceover).}

VOICEOVER: This summer, the forces Good and the forces of Evil will square off in the ultimate battle for the Human Race.

{FADE TO BLACK.}

Shouldn't there be five children, and DJ included in that montage? I know his fate is sort of indeterminate at this point, and I guess showing him in the trailer would be giving things away, but perhaps a scene from the series with him in it? I can't imagine that the authorship would spend as much time as they have crafting him as a character, and then be like, "Whelp, he had a good run, kill him off", so I'd imagine he'll be in the movie at some point. If nothing else, he is the Fifth Child, and he's not dead (as far as we know) so I figured he should be included. Maybe it's just me <g>.

I love that line. It's melodramatic, appropriate, and sounds exactly like something Mr. Voiceover Industry Standard, aka Don LaFontaine, would say in a movie trailer.
