"Back again."
|
LAST EDITED ON Dec-24-08 AT 03:47 PM (EST) I keep letting my account lapse. I guess it's due to a multitude of factors.Anyway. The reason I've come back. I was looking through an old sketchbook when I came upon this bit:
EDIT: Forgot to mention, it's all Lenneth. /EDIT 'Ugh,' I thought. 'I drew this badly? Wait, of course I drew this badly, I still draw this badly at times. Usually when I have no idea what I'm doing.' I flipped the page and remembered how inordinately proud I was of this picture:
Not that I remember ever posting it for perusal. Anyway, I wanted to post the casual picture, but I wanted to have the battle uniform thing up, too. 'I can't submit that piece of carp,' I thought. So I came to the brilliant conclusion of redrawing it. 30-40 minutes of furious scribbling and inking later, a somewhat improved picture:
I'm not entirely happy with the feet/legs, but I can't have everything, I suppose. The uniform is based on Lindt's battle uniform. The original sketches were drawn... at least 3 years ago, I don't remember when. All in all, I guess I really like the casual picture best. P.S. The various tags are still a pain in the arse. :p EDIT: Why do the linking tags only work if the URLs have only one quote? /EDIT |

Thanks to Star Ranger for explaining. Also, link:url"|image.jpg (surrounded by the usual brackets) seems to bypass something or other to make the image a link. Took me a good hour to figure it out via tinkering. |
