For those who read UF's Road Film (With Fighting) and despaired at ever getting to see the Top Gear/Grand Tour boys ever actually getting to pilot giant robots, I would like to draw your attention to the second episode of the newly dropped Amazon Prime series, James May: Our Man In Japan, in which the titular presenter not only pilots a giant robot, he actually engages in mock combat with another piloted robot. I kid you not. This is a thing that has actually happened.
