"HoloEN 4th concert"
 
   HoloEN just dropped the world's shortest teaser on YouTube. It's so short I can't even be arsed to link it. Basically it says they're having their fourth stateside concert at the Shrine Auditorium in LA the first weekend in July.

Yes, that Saturday is July 4.

Yes, that's the same weekend as Anime Expo.

Yes, someone at Cover's logistics department is clearly deranged.

   I suppose they could be banking on more people having time off to come to the concert because of the 4th than are going to be somewhere else because of the 4th, but it does seem a bit nonsensical.

Is it bad that I want them to hold an afterparty at Gigi's place (since she lives somewhere in the LA area from her descriptions), if only to see how much it confuses her mom?

This is what they usually do, though? It's deliberate, they want people who are already intending on coming to the con not have to make another trip.

EN's 2nd and 3rd concert was AnimeNYC weekend and 1st concert was AX weekend.
