Swap in a few more obviously improvised bits (the eyes and nose, for instance, are presumably not bespoke stuffed-bear parts), and you're there. I thought about mentioning that he's wearing wire pince-nez (as TR was wont to do), but decided that would reduce huggability to an unacceptable degree. >It took Gryphon ages to do his little hat.
