Hmm, that hadn't occurred to me; I had forgotten that that was the reason for changing the name of the house. On the other hand, if she's trying to be non-ostentatious, signing the personnel book as "Elizabeth A.M. Saxe-Coburg-Gotha" doesn't really do that. :) So maybe "Windsor" is in fact her coinage in that universe, chosen off the cuff as her joinin'-the-RAF alias. (Joking about it with friends later, she notes that she had her pick of the various royal residences, and could just as easily have punted and become Elizabeth Hamptoncourt. :)
