An excellent story--thank you.And, I must say, very much superior to v1.0. Gryphon's actions in the first version just didn't ring true to character. In this version, they do, and the fact that he's properly in-character makes the development of other characters and events occur much more smoothly.
A couple of questions...
(a) Where'd Gryphon get his knowledge of pon farr? Is it simply not as closely-held a secret in the UF-verse as in the Star Trek universe?
(b) Is the anti-pon farr drug readily available to Vulcans in the UF-verse? Or if not, why not? It seems like the sort of thing they'd embrace with great (yet decorous and logically-justified) relief.
