   There I was, reading the latest issue of the NGE manga, when I read this line:

"I guess the US governmeny didn't want to risk losing the Massachusetts Nerv facility too."

Anyone recall there being a Mass. branch in the anime? :-) Ever since seeing a character in the Biohazards Dirty Pair GN wearing a tshirt with "WPI" on the front I've been keeping an eye out...

There was mention of a United States branch, but I don't think they said where in the US it was.

Two, actually -- the one that got vaped when EVA-04 went down, and the one that shipped EVA-03 off to Japan.

IIRC, the map in that episode showed the vaped base somewhere in the Southwest. I think they were implying the Groom Dry Lake facility.
