They are, but technically there was an update and errata to the third edition that counted as one in its own right, and then the one after that was incredibly divisive, and then a bunch of people made a kind of weird spinoff thing, and now that has a second edition out, and it's just a huge unsightly mess of tangled, blubbery nerd rage. Much like this joke, really. ---
