*snrk* Amusing, but Shioi was the only one actually dead, and she was in Hel. OTOH, Valhalla did not differentiate with respect to credo so long as the warrior was honorable. There won't be any Fog ships in Valhalla now, I'd think (sentience coming so late to them, plus I thought no Fog ships were destroyed in the initial war).

To say the least. I was wondering how he's going to talk his way out of this one. Saving fifteen people isn't enough of a reason to break that seal, I'd imagine. Bringing fifteen Fog warships to their side might be, but AFAIK the Aesir stay out of mortal affairs thoroughly enough that denying Fog warships to Earth might -not- be. Unless there was a provable connection between Akio or Surtur and Earth. Say, through the Mysterons?
(edit) Oh yes, one more thing. This meeting, no doubt, has to do with Corwin's daughter. I think I mentioned this before, but if the Aesir needed a legal reason to be able to go after Akio personally, having Odin's great-granddaughter kidnapped might just qualify. Akio may have bought himself a whole new level of trouble.

I await with bated breath. =)
