First, will Londo and G'kar be the offical represntives of their goverments to B5 in UF?Second, does the League of Non-Alligned Worlds exists? Third, Same question, reffering to the Vorlon Empire? *Pictures Garak and Bashir watching Londo and G'kar snip at eachother and obviously enjoying the show* *Decides the answer to question three is no because the Vorlons would have taken out Bajor with their planet killer long ago, after all, B5 is the work of a servant of Chaos* |

Or, Ambassador Mollari is Londo Mollari IX and Gryph's traveling companion was notorious family black sheep and no-goodnik Londo Mollari VIII.>>>Third, Same question, reffering to the Vorlon Empire? >> >>Yes, but they're not what you're expecting. >> > >Wouldn't that make them something other than Vorlons? <seriously, the >idea of the group is to be haughty, mysterious, and insufferably >arrogant... seeing them otherwise will cause some headaches methinks> ...Hmm. Haughty, mysterious, nearly as advanced as they think they are, insufferably arrogant, organic technology... Anime fans of the audience, does this sound familiar? They're so far ahead that UF is nine, eight hundred miles behind, instead of a thousand. Blessed be. LAST EDITED ON Nov-21-01 AT 12:03 PM (EST) >*Drops a Zoner Chili bomb, which is soon followed by a familar sound* > >*Wheet* > >*Five Narns with Gas Masks appear* > >*thump, thump, thump, Thump, Thump, THUMP* > >*WHAM* *WHAM* *WHAM* *WHAM* *WHAM* Hey. Y'know what? That joke is extremely stale. And here's a tip... if you want the moderators to stop reading a thread, causing the discussion to devolve into posts like this is about the most sure-fire way of doing it. It's not interesting, it's not funny, it's tedious. --truss, not humorless, but preferring jokes with actual content. >Uhm, just how old >IS Londo? IIRC, he popped up <with a disguised UF-G no less> during >the Exile. In 2405, Londo is starting to get on toward the elderly side; when we saw him in Privateer: One Fine Mess, he was in his prime, about 30, which makes him 80ish now. That's right on the border of late middle age/early old age for a Centauri in the UF 25th century. IOW, he's about the apparent age he is in Babylon 5. >Of course, this could just be a reference to the much higher tech base >of UF relative to B5 canon, meaning the Vorlons just don't have the >same amount of pull. Put it this way: They're more reluctant to destroy people's planets when those people possess the capability of destroying their planet in return. --G. -><- Benjamin D. >*Decides the answer to question three is no because the Vorlons >would have taken out Bajor with their planet killer long ago, after >all, B5 is the work of a servant of Chaos* <Much speculation occurs below.> Actually, if you think about it, the Shadows and MegaZone-UF are complete opposites, despite both being servants of forms of Chaos. The Shadows are proponents of the 'Chaos equals Strife, Strife equals Conflict, Conflict equals evolution' line of thought. MegaZone is a proponent of the 'a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds' school of thought. The Shadows believe in the chaos of war as a forging fire of strength. MegaZone's purview appears to be, of all things, 'Think Different' - expand the mental horizon a bit, let yourself create. For the readers of the Bhavagita, the Shadows are Shiva's destroying aspect, and MegaZone is the creating. Both are aspects of Chaos. The interesting question is, do the Vorlons have a mindset wide enough to allow them to comprehend that? Just because they've got superior intellects doesn't mean they don't have irritating assumptions. -- Geoff Depew - Mephron Haberdasher to Androids, Malakite of Lightning and Angel of Tech Support Professionals (They won't give me LARTs, they say that's restricted to Michael.) -- Jen Dantes - Darth Mephron Haberdasher to Androids, Dark Lady of Sith Tech Support.
