Also, it looks like there have been a few ships named HMS Adamant, although only one was a Proper Warship (the first was a fourth-rate in the late 1700s). The others were auxiliaries, a depot ship and a submarine tender, respectively.
(Also also, there is of course a Defiant-class destroyer by that name in the IPSF, because -ant word. :)
