   Unlike a lot of hardcore Pokemon fans (and I am a hardcore pokemon fan, I have a plan to do 50 ingame runs of the various games over the next 2 years), I appreciate Palworld for being a competitor to Pokemon. Not a SERIOUS competitor, but Nintendo has been resting on its laurels for too long and stuff like Scarlet and Violet are NOT the best product we could have been given, there is a laundry list of bugs and the graphics are a step below what the Switch is capable of so I feel as if Pokemon needs more competition to push it to be better.

Some of the Pals are kind of cute- I naturally gravitate towards the grass-type ones, just like in Pokemon- but I think it's mostly coasting off of stuff like Hololive popularity and the luster will wear off pretty quickly once people realize it's not actually a very good game.
